All new teachers, school administrators, school counselors, school psychologists, Volunteers, school nurses or school social workers (if applicable) must agree to a state and FBI criminal records check. Upon hiring, an employee must submit a B.C.I. (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) fingerprinting report to the school office. In addition to the Ohio Civilian background check, applicants who have not lived continuously in Ohio for the past 5 years must also submit to a background check from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Employment at BI School will be conditional until the records check is completed.
